De Groot, Inc., established in 1957, is a wholesale only grower of perennials, flowerbulbs, small fruits and vegetables. Our primary customers are retail merchants, garden centers, commercial greenhouse growers, and landscapers. We are located in the Southwest part of Michigan just 6 miles from Lake Michigan. Our 300-acre farm adjoins 100,000-sq. ft. of office, packaging, and cold storage facilities.
Whether you are looking for bulk bareroot material or packaged items, we carry a complete listing of the most popular and unique perennials and flowerbulbs. At De Groot, Inc. we offer classic favorites and new exclusive varieties packaged for small garden centers or for larger retailers, so you can offer customers spring through summertime blooms.
Leisure Products for Indoors & Outdoors
We offer a large selection of charcoal grills under the brands of "Charcoal Gourmet" and "Classic" grills. We carry an extensive line of outdoor wood-burning fireplaces including "Big Sky Fire Pit" – the most unique outdoor fireplace available. We also offer "Aluminex" doormats – our exclusive line of decorative and durable cast aluminum doormats. We complete our selection with resin wicker furniture and garden benches.
We are also the major supplier of fireplace grates in the USA. They are available with ember retainers, an excellent feature to make the fire burn hotter and more efficiently. We have a wide variety of indoor fireplace products including tool sets, fireplace screens, log hoops and firebacks; as well as many other items for creating an entire coordinated program.
